Who We Are

Tatjana M. Farley, Ph.D., LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University, and my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State.

The vision of New Narratives is to be able to help client's understand who they are, how they got to the place that they need or want therapy services, and where they want to be in life, and merge those in a healing way. I hope to help clients make sense of their stories and feel confident in the life they are living. Client's are the expert on their lives while I am an expert in the therapy process. I hope to work together to create a comfortable and collaborative environment to cultivate healing.

I specialize in working with trauma, but work with all presenting problems. I see clients 8 years and older, but I have worked with children as young as 5 years old. I see individuals, couples, and families. I have previous experience working with anger and aggression, the LGBTQIA+ community, and first responders.
