I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University, and my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State University. ​I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families of various gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and racial-ethnic backgrounds. I work with clients to address a variety of presenting concerns, with a focus on the therapeutic connection and understanding.

​I specialize in helping individuals and couples with trauma and perinatal mental health. I aim to provide inclusive and affirmative care to those experiencing difficulties with thoughts around pregnancy, infertility, birth trauma, and family planning. No matter what your family or relationship structure looks like we will work together to provide the support and guidance in achieving your goals. 

 

I have the following trainings: Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care, Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy, Gottman Level 1 & 2, PREPARE/ENRICH, and Trauma-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University, and my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State University. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families of diverse gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and racial-ethnic backgrounds. I help clients address a variety of presenting concerns, with a focus on fostering connection, understanding, and personal growth.

 

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, and sexuality. Whether you are navigating challenges within a traditional or non-traditional relationship structure, I strive to create a comfortable, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where you feel empowered to explore your experiences and goals.

 

I recognize that every person and every relationship is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each client. By combining evidence-based practices, with a strengths-based perspective, I aim to support you in developing the skills and insights necessary to overcome obstacles and thrive. Healing and growth are possible, and I am here to support you in your journey!
